Bartók Visual Workshop

The Bartók Visual Workshop has been operating on a seasonal basis since summer 2014. The backbone of its activity comprises architectural workshops for 10-16-year olds, which provide the opportunity to expand the methodology laid down in the literature of education about the built environment, while also being a platform for a broad range of fne art and scientifc projects. In addition to organising workshops in the branches of the arts ranging from architecture through music to animation, it is an objective of the Bartók Visual Workshop to implement some of the works in the open-air and organise visits to buildings of interest. It is a fundamental principle of the workshop to teach young people that our environment can only be truly observed and discovered when it is personally ‘surveyed’.
