Come and go tours

The thematic urban sight-seeing tours organised by the Association of Hungarian Architects provides a pleasant experience through the exploration of the architectural highlights of Budapest. The participants of past tours explored the buildings of the Palace Quarter and learnt about the stories of their former residents, the history of the Városliget Avenue, the everyday lives of those who once lived in its most impressive villas built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as the architectural features of the unique villa district under the shade of the trees of Budapest’s Pasarét area. The series of tours includes a special sight-seeing river cruise on the Danube supplemented with a slide show and presentation on local architectural history.
