City Park rehabilitation design competition

Városliget Zrt. issued an invitation for designs within the Liget Budapest Project for the comprehensive development of Budapest’s City Park – Europe’s frst public park – and its contemporary planning, while incorporating the results of international architecture design competitions and observing the regulations applicable to the reconstruction of existing institutions. The design competition invited projects for the functional renewal and development of the City Park, the increase and rehabilitation of its green surfaces as well as the presentation of its horticultural values and the renewal of its landscape architecture, while continuing the park’s longstanding traditions and at the same time maintaining the highest professional standards of contemporary European landscape architecture.
