Blessed Celesztina Donáti Nursery

In the 250 years after they settled in Nagykanizsa, the Piarist Order pursued its activities in three former garrisons. The nursery rooms on the primary school’s ground floor only meant a temporary solution and the shortage of space necessitated the addition of a new wing supplemented with a reception at its entrance. The wing built for the nursery is the continuation of the mass of the P.E. room, while the entrance section built over the former stairs and entrance for cars is a fne reflection of how order and space-efciency can be combined in an architectural design.
