The narrow plots, which are perpendicular to the lakeside parth, run up a steep hillside. Accordingly, the holiday units are built behind each other with a fve-metre height difference between them. They are positioned to remain as far away from the large-trunked trees and from each other as possible. To ensure that the users of the units disturb each other as little as possible, all the buildings overlook the lake. The houses are accessible from the higher ground via footbridges. A characteristic feature of each unit is the large opening with a terrace oriented towards the lake, and the asymmetry resulting from the insetting of the whirlpool baths. The architects’ most important objective was for the houses to blend in with the scenery, with a minimal environmental impact.
