The Castle of Salgó

My thesis is not a reconstruction of a castle or a monumental renovation, but rather an exploration and reinterpretation of the true meaning of the concept of castle. My plan is based on the recognition that the castle as a built surrounding has a completely different meaning for the present as it has been in its time. However, this difference also focuses to the original, more fundamental causes of construction which is the relationship between nature and man, where architecture is a special language being used as a human reaction to the environment.
