The tip of Elisabeth Island at Komárom has a prominent location not only for the town of Komárom but also for the two bordering countries: Hungary and Slovakia. The building on the narrow and elongated plot has a ribbon-like shape. A noteworthy aspect of the design is the section for seasonal exhibitions, which follows the line of the building in its development and form. It functions as the building’s integral part but it can also be detached and converted into a mobile exhibition space on the shipping route between Vienna and Budapest. In the future, the building may be used as the marina of Komárom.
