Development of the Creative Innovation Knowledge Park on the Campus of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, design competition

The design for the extension of the MOME Campus is centred on the question of identity: how can a link be established with the pioneering applied arts movement, the Bauhaus, through László Moholy-Nagy, the university’s namesake. Another question that arose was that of the Moholy-Nagy, as an artist and as a person, whose professional attitude was defned by innovation, the pushing of artistic and technical limits. The answers to these questions provided help for the architects especially in how they designed the interior spaces and how they linked them to the exterior spaces.
