Centre for Agricultural Researc design competition, Hungarian Academy of Sciences

The Centre for Agricultural Research, which is the latest addition to the research facility located in the castle park of Martonvásár, has the capacity to satisfy even the most recent research needs. The building houses four research institutes, a conference hall, as well as market-based laboratories and greenhouses. Despite the complexity of the linked functions, the scattered development method and the system of corridors resulted in a transparent, logical spatial structure. The most defning element of the building is the aula, which has a community coordination and an orienteering function.
