An important objective of the concept was to reconstruct the garden so that it would ft in with the Classicist buildings; i.e. to evoke the old landscaped garden designed by Ármin Petz, while meeting the latest principles and values promoted by modern monument protection. It was also important to restore the previous road network, the spatial structure of the vegetation and the sculptures in the garden, and to develop a sculptural trail. A café and patisserie will be built as a result of the renovation and extension of the now deserted Gardener’s House, while the entire utility network will also be renewed and extended.
