Architectural concept for the library and knowledge centre in Hódmezővásárhely, design competition

The Municipality of Hódmezővásárhely has launched an architectural competition for the design of a multifunctional cultural center that is prominent in the region and determines the life of the city. The new institution will serve as a library and a knowledge centre as well as community space, including an exhibition area. This building will house the László Németh Municipal Library, the Lajos Pósa Children Library and the City Archive of National Archive of Hungary. The municipality is planned to have a central, emblematic role, so the aim of the competition is to create an iconic, symbolic building with architectural signifcance.
