The building was originally designed by Flóris Korb and Kálmán Giergl. Behind the retained and reconstructed street facade is a new, seven-floor office block with a fve-level underground parking lot. The main staircase with a castiron structure and the hanging corridors were renovated and built back into their original place, making the fve-level high atrium the most important communal space of the building. The Eiffel Palace was built with explicitly contemporary architectural tools accompanied by environmentally friendly and modern engineering systems.
