K4 Office Building

A prominent feature of the location in Budapest’s northeastern business district is Dózsa György Road, which cuts a wide arc through the orthogonal fabric of the city. The focal point of the irregular site is the freely formed office building, which opens out like a fan into three column in the direction of the square’s expansion. Two of its elements form a rightangle with each other, while the third is wedged between the two, overwriting their seemingly simple relationship. The blocks incrementally decrease in height towards the lowerrise residential areas.
