Pope John XXIII Chapel

After plans to build an ecumenical church fell through, this chapel – with a capacity of 80-100 persons – was something that the Catholic congregation of the large, District 17 parish to the south of Pest Road had dreamed of for two decades. The architectural concept for the development of this triangular corner plot, which slopes downwards along its longer axis, comprises a community space connected to a sacramental chapel, a place for giving mass, and an urn cemetery run by the parish.
