Gate of Pilis training and visitor centre

The environmental training centre planned to be located on the edge of the town and the national park, in the vicinity of the ruins of a Roman era villa, was designed with the objective of drawing attention to the dystopian fears of our age resulting from the guilt-ridden and wasteful lifestyle of modern society. The massive design, futuristic form and use of rusty materials make the building, which resembles abandoned ruins half-reclaimed by nature, into a brutal and rigorous monument to the modern age.
